Hey guys, I think we finally have a design for our site that we can live with. Please take your time and investigate the site. I wanted to quickly list all the new improvements you will find.
- You can login to our site by clicking on the “login” button in the header.
- Leave us a message on our wall. Your messages will then be displayed in the header of our site. You can also leave comments on any one of our posts.
- Our twitter feed is also in the header of the site, so you can get our up to the minute updates. If you haven’t aready, be sure to follow us on twitter.
- If you go to our community page,you can see all the other people who have recently logged into our site, and what they have to say
- We have a new mp3 player on our homepage that plays seven of our releases. You no longer have to wait for a 3rd party player to load. You will also see links to all the places you can download or order our ep
- We have a featured news section that lists al of our latest posts.
- If you click on a post, you will see related posts at the end of each article as well as an area to leave comments, a tag cloud in the sidebar, randomly generated posts, and an archive of all our past posts.
- On the homepage you will see our flickr feed of our latest photos. You can click on them and they will be lightboxed and appear natively on our site
- If you click on one of our categories: News, Press, Shows; you will see our youtube videos that when clicked on have the same lightbox effect. You will also see the top 10 posts of the day.
- There is a search box on every page with accurate lastnightsvice.com search results, if you need to find something specific
- A more graphical header
- A graphical footer containing some sort of contact form/e-mail list
- A locally hosted photo page
- A local mp3 player for the Music page
- The complete historical list of wall comments from the header
- More member exclusive content
- Deeper linking of internal content and pages
- A faster backend of the site to speed up loading times
- An updated comment box
- More accessible RSS links
- A blog section where the band can rant
- Improvements to spacing and text
